Iām the founder of the Freelance Freedom Academy and a full-time digital nomad.
I sold everything I owned, flew to South America, and converted a van. I was going to be a digital nomad. I was going to work online and see the world and feel free.
Instead I burned out completely.
Not because van life was hard ā it was. But because I hadn’t figured out the thing that actually makes the lifestyle work: a real skill that pays real money. I was stressed, broke, and running out of reasons to keep going.
The turning point was SEO. I stumbled into it almost by accident, started writing content for clients, and within a few months had an income I could take anywhere. No fancy degree. No tech background. Just one skill, learned properly, applied consistently.
That was the thing I’d been missing the whole time. And it’s the thing I now teach.
Today I work with global clients, design my own schedule, and split my time between places I actually want to be. I built the Freelance Freedom Academy because I wanted to give other people the shortcut I didn’t have ā a clear, no-fluff path from “I want to work online” to actually doing it.
