Planning a trip can seem overwhelming at times and become quite stressful. Many people end up staying home and skipping out on big adventures because it becomes too big to plan or too expensive. 

My first big trip was 4 months in South America, and I ended up booking the whole thing through a travel agency. The trip was AMAZING but as soon as I had arrived I realized how much money I could have saved if I had just planned it myself. Since then I have never booked through an agency again and love researching before going to a new destination.  It allows me to get off the beaten path a provides way more flexibility!
